Aluminium Pizza Wedge Large EGG. Used in tandem with the EGGspander kit, and a convEGGtor with the convEGGtor basket to create a pizza oven system, the Pizza Oven Wedges give you a traditional brick oven set up in a more manageable and potentially portable scenario with an easily accessible front opening that makes quick work of sliding pizzas in and out of the EGG when using a pizza peel or lifter.
The front opening allows you to monitor pizzas, breads or other baked goods as they cook, giving you the ability to get the right level of doneness that you prefer and take out too much guesswork. With the wedges in place, the EGG temperature holds for hours where you set it, in a range from 204°C / 400°F to 370°C / 700°F. The ceramic construction and design of the EGG enables the heat retention needed for consistent cooking, even when baking multiple pizzas over a long period.
