Grandfire Kamado Charcoal BBQ
The Grandfire Kamado Charcoal BBQ is one of the most versatile barbecues on the market. Ceramic cooking comes from an ancient style of cooking that began over 3,000 years ago. 'Kamado' being the Japanese word for 'stove' and literally, 'place for the cauldron'. Simple, yet all these years later, one of the most efficient and flexible methods of cooking food to perfection. Fast forward to the present day and you get a combination of age old and modern technology. The incredible heat retention properties of ceramics enables temperatures up to 399 degrees Celsius meaning you can cook meats, smoke fish and even bake! A perfect addition to your outdoor kitchen so you can do charcoal cooking alongside your Grandfire gas BBQs.
The Grandfire Kamado features a quick response thermometer, adjustable top vent, lower vent (with ezi-clean ash system) allowing you to dial it in for accurate cooking temps and solid temp holding. In addition, the Kamado has a semi-circular split cooking system consisting of half-moon heat deflectors so you can do either full indirect, partial indirect or full direct grilling. A pizza stone is included, along with bamboo shelves/handle and heavy duty stainless steel hinge and bands for durability.
